Hi folks, headin to borovets 22nd march...stayin half board at the Rila Hotel....what would anyone who's been there recently and been out most nights recommend I'd need in sterling for spending money for one week? All advice welcome...cheers...and any news on snow would be fab!!
per person per day i would allow 30 lev for lunch, this is a meal and asoft drink, night time i would say most places for a drink are between 3 and 5 lev depends what your tipple is, most place have happy hours.
Breakfast Eat at Hotel
Lunch 30 Lev
Dinner Try food at Hotel if not a meal will cost you about 20 lev
we got a rate of 2.51 lev to the £ out there
hope this helps
I would say per day per person £50 for lunch, crapes, brandy hot choc, drinks on a night, this is maybe a little 2 much but you will eat and drink well on this.
Boro must be expensive, In Bansko with my wife on B+B basis we spent about 8-9Lev a day each on lunch, soup, bread and a soft drink on the slopes.
Evening meals varied depending on where we ate but a main course and a few beers was normally about 30Lev per person.
Meals varied in quality along with the service.
I give my teenagers 20 lev each for lunch, and they have pizza, chips and coke, and spend the lot.
I eat chips with cheese, sometimes soup or an omelette with water or hot wine, and rarely pay more than 12 lev.
Eating out in the evenings, we ate out 3 times in Boro at New Year, and the most expensive meal was in Mamacitas, about 80lev for the 3 of us. Best value and very nice was in Bar Central, about 40 lev for us all, including drinks and wine.
