How much spending money???

When we have been to Borovets in the past we have always stayed half board in a hotel but are going self catering this time. Was wondering how much I should realistically be putting aside for spending for food/drink for the week (myself, older daughter and 5 year old son) Prob wont be drinking alcohol so its more soft drinks and lunch/evening meal (eating out) each day with maybe a breakfast on some mornings..
Many thanks in advance

Your best off taking your debit card out and just drawing out what you need, won't be too much if your not drinking much.

re:How much spending money???

Blimey, how much will i need ? Depends how well you eat and what you eat ? Soft drinks are more expensive than alcohol.. So... as an average, allow 10lv a head for small breakfast, 15lv a head for simple lunch, 20lv a head for simple main meal... Expect to pay 2lv upwards for soft drink, coke can be more expensive....
You can do it cheaper, share large pizzas, soups are great value.. buy your drinks in the supermarket etc

I remember when we got this question a 100 times a season on here Very Happy

Hi

Last year I was out eating and drinking every day and I just managed to spend £400. That included purchasing my lifts pass for the week.

Hope that gives you a rough idea.

re:How much spending money???

Assume that you are eating in Borovets rather than Samokov I'd suggest 50lv p/head each day approx. and probably a bit more if you have breakfast out. That's calculated on 20lv for lunch and 30lv for evening meal. Of course that depends on how much and what you eat and drink. Use a rough exchange rate of 2.2-2.3lv to the £ so that's £21-22 p/day ish
