Should be good enough. They gave me an old board (really old) but new boots. Skis looked OK. If not happy with choice then go to Rossignol Shop at the Ela (across the road) or the Samokov Ski School.
Stefan will sort you out though. They need the business and bad publicity is best avoided.
Used him last year, he's a bit fly don't book any excursions with him but the skis are good, the old chap that fits them is an old skiier and really knows his stuff. He will sharpen edges if you need them done. The food is good in the restaurant too - try the turkish bread!
