Part of what you say is correct. Each resort etc differs. I find Boro a very cheerful place with plentiful snow. Yes, it isnt 100% throughout the winter but neither is europe as a whole. The resort does have bars and clubs sand the odd strip joint, is that really the end of the world? I'd prefer to take my kids to the US or Canada as you are sure to have a great time there, that said, I would take my kids to Boro anytime, its all about explaining things to them, I really dont see the ...

Its not the US but its good by me and I've had loads of fund there.
You may not find people looking down there nose at you here, you may find people dont care what gear you wear, you may also find people come here for fun rather than just to look good and see how much they can spend on a coffee!!
