sorry dvd's people out there.
I am visiting this forum NOT to constantly advertise myself-
no need for that-not desperate at all.
I am visiting now and then Bulgariaski because I am curious to learn the reasons why some people like Bulgaria so much.
Still have not found them though.
sometimes I think reasons are solely to advertise eigher own place to rent or for sale,
sometimes something like livesaving experience is the reason which is fine,
sometimes is the friendliness of the locals which is good,
some of the times is the proclamed cheapness of the place-which I just can not understand.
but most of the times is the cheapo spirits and cigs which is a real shame.
I wish the reasons to visit Bulgaria are only:
nature
friendliness
easy travel around
good standarts
cleanliness
unfortunately these things are dificult to preserve some of them are even on the way out.

I support Mikey the whole way. He and a few others come on here and try and be honest about bulgaria, as it is a discussion board. What he/they say might be negative but it doesn't mean it is not accurate. You call him the troll, you guys are the trolls. You have a little troll army that attakcs mikey and any newcomer who says anything bad about your beloved bulgaria, even site administrators get invloved .

You slag his level of english which is in fact better than most of yours. Everything he says about bulgaria is extremely accurate but it offends you all. By all means you can ski wherever you want, each to their own and whatever floats your boat but the idea of this board is to provide information to people, people who have been to bulgaria and people who have not been. However, anything negative said about Bulgaria is attacked by the 'locals' and made to sound untrue, its all Mikey being a troll or some new guy expecting too much.

I read this discussion board before my first trip to bulgaria (boro) this year along with other reviews and the points made by the 'locals' led me to believe i had nothing to worry about. Well after returning from a truely awful experience i can say that i should have paid attention to Mikey and the few others who have come on here and posted honest, albeit negative reviews of this resort, not the 'locals' on this site who undermine anything negative said about bulgaria and gang up on the person who have made such comments.

By all means, you guys obvioulsy love bulgaria and have brilliant ski holidays there, thats great. I don't think Mikey is trying to inform you guys of Bulgaria or criticise you for choosing it as your ski destination, but to inform new comers, so that they don't get a unbiased view of what to expect. And i read alot of the posts here by people who like Borovets and i am sorry, your views are so biased, i had to double check i was in the same resort you were talking about. It may pain you all to hear this but Mikey has a far greater knowledge of bulgarian skiing and skiing in general than anybody on here, maybe its just jealousy that fuel your attacks on him.

so if you are not the same - take the opinion and of 'others' even when it is negative.
-if you want to advertise on here its fine.
-if you want to surround yourself like a bullid froof fence with 'party members' why not form new international party called 'BG LOVER through and through'

I am sorry you have not done your home work properly before deciding to visit Bulgaria.
I was banned from this site until end of Feb08 simply for posting what I see and not agreeing with the lies and fantasies plasterred on here.
I simply dont give .. about 'the clique of party members' on here.
I understand where they are all coming from:
-bought something there,
-want to protect it now,
-laundering stashed away cash in the country,
-have a girl or a boyfriend in there(maybe mized marriages),
-experienced something special there some time in the past,
-want to be seing as a success with properties back home or in business in general,
-missed the boat in other places around the globe and has plunged in BG even when looking now, it is a wrong step,
-made some friends while on holiday and wants a simple chat on this forum,
-liking the 'Last frontier'-last place to freely smoke and drink everywhere and non stop even in the children places and sweet shops-but not for long,
-freely available seedy places to..
and few more

but one thing is for sure maybe they will try to blanc out the view of others if they dont like it for the moment but , sooner rather than later people which are not blind will get the true picture from other sourses -they are already starting to do this.
Internet is powerful tool.

I am very sorry about posting only negative facts and figures on here but that is all there is at present about Bulgaria.

But lets all hope that in the future there wont be only negatives but and positive news comming out of Bulgaria and then:
I will be the first one out to SHOUT OUT loudly and post them in BIG capitals not only here but everywhere, no worries.

Given you are from BG but now in England (I suspect) - I wonder why all these negative comments

Your homeland must have done you 'very bad' in the past I wonder

I wonder further whether you were happy to 'jump on the bandwagon' when the EU opened it's doors and allowed you residency elsewhere (possibly here)

Perhaps if you took the time to properly explain your resentful feelings to BG and the people on here that enjoy their visits then we may all understand you a little more - if that is something we dare to or indeed wish to encounter..............
