After spending Christmas at Borovets Im more than happy to repeat the adventure again this year, but theres just this wee small thing I have to save up for first. Weddings are such expensive things!
So, I wont be back until Christmas 2007. Borovets might well be a very different place then...

Hi Wakey7638, are you sure you can wait for 20 à 24 months???
I've heard that a wedding on the slopes is something special ;>))

I suggested that! And she nearly went for it!
But had to put that one on hold as a couple of relatives are quiet elderly and putting a couple of planks on their feet might well finish them off.
Tsk, some people have no vision.
I wonder how Boro will change in those 2 ish years?
Wasn't there talk about making the place a year round resort?

the super Borovets project..
Haven't heard about a year round resort but def lots of area (3 niveau's) and new slopes around!

That would be good. When I was there at Christmas I did find I was quite restricted if the Gondola was only taking people up halfway. Still, a minor grumble.
Do you know where the new slopes planned?
