Hey!I have been back in England for only a week now and i really want to go back on the slopes in Borovets!
I stayed in a Rila Studio and had beginers lessons!
If anyone has questions they would like to ask feel free to ask me! im sure i could try and help!

HiyaI'm staying in Rila studio in a couple of weeks, how many of you went ? Any tips of things that you wish you had taken that weren't provided at the hotel and is the food at the hotel as bad as people make out.

hey!4 of us went but we had 2 studios! if you like swimming and jacuzzis then i sugest that you take swimming stuff! take bits like cadburys chocolate it kept our energy going! The chocolate out there isnt like ours!
The Rila food is edible! and they do have a wide variety but its very tasteless i spent the week eating the food with mayonaise and pepper! but everybodys tastes are different and you might love it!

We stayed there last year in a studio room. 2 adults and 2 kids. Rooms were fine, children slept in proper bunk beds in the room. Food was fine, I think the Samokov this year was marginally better but I had no problems with the Rila. There was plenty of choice so if you didn't fancy something there was always something else. Lots of salads / cold meats.
Eating out is also cheap, 8 of us (4 adults & 4 Kids) ate out this week at Katy's and Franco's pizza, with fair amount of ...

Plenty of towels, loo paper (soft) in rooms which were warm. Ours also had a fridge and a double electric hob with kettle, pots & pans. Would have been a bit tight self catering but was ideal for an early morning brew.

hi, bill, are the rooms warm enough in the samokov, especially for drying clothes if they are wet?I'm going to the samokov in march, and see forward to it, because of the good comments in your message earlier,

Hi DaveyWe are staying at Rila in a studio, going on the 29th Jan the adults and two boys aged 14 and 9. Hubby and eldest went last year. Had a brilliant time - hence all going this year.

Okay have a great Chardonnay 2000 this evening from Preslav, but it is not the same as will be there. LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND CULTURE....
