Dear PP and all the lovely people that have been involved in the fundraising for the heating in the institute in Stoikite. I know that I have neglected the forum of recent, however I have not neglected the children, I have been working hard on the ground to make change.

I have seen all your efforts to really make this heating possible, I am in no doubt that with all the fund raising past and future we can do much more than just the heating. I am so proud of what we have achieved as a team and as friends. I really enjoyed meeting so many good people and I really hope that we all remain in contact. I note that in my absence Pete has undergone numerous negative comments from other forum posters whom have nothing better to do with their time other than criticise others for doing good, the least said about these people the better. We know that what we are trying to achieve is a good thing, which in- turn will change the situation for many children for years to come, we are pure in heart and in mind.

I just want to say the simple words thank you all for being you, wit out you there is no us, no team
onwards and upwards we march and strive as one for a better tomorrow Ps I do miss you PP x x

Re Amanda's post.

Poor woman, Andie and I are always nagging her as she is always so busy that she forgets to keep us posted on things. I had an email this morning from her keeping us updated on Yuri but she has not got around to putting this on the forum yet, so I have taken the liberty of doing so, as I am sure lots of you want to know what is happening with the kids. You may remember Yuri and Rosonka were two of the kids that were kicked out in the absence of Amanda and Jasmine Here is the update
I have just returned from a 3 hour treck to visit Yuri, it was a no show so I waited two hours and left disappointed, I was unable to make telephone contact. We drove the 3 hours home and I have just received a call of apology from Yuri, Rosonka had been taken to hospital as she was bleeding, she has not lost the baby but Yuri was of course worried, he left his shelter in a hurry without his mobile telephone, therefore he was unable to make contact with me. I will take the time to visit next month. At least all turned out ok x

Re progress on the decorating of the orphanage, nothing happening at the moment but they will be there in the summer working again - fingers crossed
