I know it's a stupid question but

Does anyone know if I can take my ski boots on easyjet as hand luggage? I have never had to consider this but am taking my girlfriend skiing for the first time. My hold bag will therefore be crammed full of non essential rubbish such as only a woman can take cos her weight allowance has long been lost in a mad frenzy of paranoid packing
Thanks

re: I know it's a stupid question but

will they fit in the over head locker, do they meet the weight and size requirements??
guess that depends on how big your boots are or the bag you stick them in....you could always wear them, that would be cool...or uncool..
anyway, be a man and get a grip of your birds packing of non essential electrical equipment, shoes and coats..

most airlines will definately say noooooo!!!

re: I know it's a stupid question but

As far as I know easyjet have only a size restriction and no weight constrictions on hand baggage. In theory I think you could take an anvil if it fits in your bag. Not sure if these troubled times if ski boots would constitute a weapon. Call me a coward but dare not interfere with her packing. If she came home and caught me in bed with her mum the confrontation would be easier

re: I know it's a stupid question but

Just to clarify, hairdriers and straighteners ARE most definitely essential equipment.
