I thought it was supposed to be cheap in bulgaria ?

Basically i was told it was about 40p a pint.....but the way im reading it you get 2.60 levs for a quid and its 4 -6 levs a drink....thats £2 a drink!! Thats not cheap !! or am i wrong ?

really depends on where you go which bars etc and what you drink. the small bars it normally about 2 levs for a beer and 2.5 for a spirit then maybe a lev as well for the coke or what ever. (they drink it seperate) all imported stuff if more normally around 5 levs (redbull, bottles of heineken, imported spirits) and some of the bigger bars and discos the prices are slightly higher (3lv a beer) hope this answers it.

but you must also add to your calculations that a lot of the bars offer 2 for 1.so you end up with a double round each time.

Yeah forgot that. Not just happy Hour but happy 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...........hours if you time it right you get 2 for 1 all day!!!!

Whilst in Sofia recently we purchased Flirt Vodka very acceptable at £1.60 per 70cl bottle and 6th Sense Gin at the same price.
Made for and inexpensive night

You forgot to say that a single in BG is 50ml minimum.

500ml berr was 60 stinkys, 1 litre flirt was just under 3 lev

div'ent worry pet, as the vino ower there is as cheap as chips!
