It's great as far as we are concerned. Stayed there about 5 times now and am going back in 2 weeks - can't wait. Food is OK if you are half board. Rooms clean and comfy. Staff friendly. Take flip flops and swimming costume as they have a pool but the floor is really slippery. H x
Hi,
Stayed there over Christmas and it was fine. Rooms a bit cold but ask to turn heating uo and food is a lot better that some of the other hotels.
Ski depo downstairs really friendly and helpful. Parnter got her skiis hot waxed for £2.50.
Three of us Just got back from the iglika on the 11th Jan. could not fault it at all, food good staff friendly and perfectly situated for the slopes. The only disapointment with the resort is that the prices have risen quite a bit over the last few years for eating / drinking out and it will soon out price its self out of the market with people opting for the shorter flights to western Europe. But apart from that it is a fantastic little resort with good skiing
stayed there 5times, went to Flora last year which is a 4 star, going back to Iglika, much better, far more friendly, food better and a better location for nursery slopes and not too far from the gondola, superior rooms are well worth the extra, would definatley recommend
stayed there over new year great hotel ideally situated within ten minutes youve got your skis on and are on the nursery slopes in front of the rila.
rooms are very well furnished we all had superior rooms with tv mini bar and a bath and shower food in restaurant was much better than expected each as much as you like. one small downside pay for your drinks as you go in the bar as you go to avoid being short changed but apart from that have a great holidaywe did and cant wait until next year
People who are not snobs will probably enjoy their stay at the hotel. I did. The food, breakfast and dinner is buffet style, self service eat as much as you like. It's not traditional apline cuisine, more like stuff you might get in a canteen with some local stuff in the mix. It won't win awards but it was filling, tasty for non-fussy eaters, with plenty of choice of meats and veg and salad. Have you ever seen chips on the menu for breakfast? You will do. Excellent location behind ...

Excellent location behind the Rila and 100m to all the shops and bars. When we booked the TO was offering at no extra coast free upgrades to the 'superior' rooms in the new wing(Right hand side part of hotel). People who had seen both said the newer wing has much better rooms. Room itself was spacious, cleaned dailty, warm. Staff generally friendly. It helps to learn even just a few Bulgarian phrases. It will be appreciated.
