For those new recruits to the Invasion, this all started with a group of skiers and boarders having such a great time in Boro. It was when Kas and Bobby only ran the White House at the top of the gondola. We all met up for the forum meet on the Sunday in Titanic.

For those new recruits to the Invasion, this all started with a group of skiers and boarders having such a great time in Boro. It was when Kas and Bobby only ran the White House at the top of the gondola. We all met up for the forum meet on the Sunday in Titanic.
We all decided that we would return together the same time for the next year, mean while Kas and Bobby (bless them ) opened Bobbys bar in the old Golden Chicken hut near the gondola. Any way the word got round that this was the place to be and number swelled, and Kas and Bobby expanded and moved to the new bar under the mountain rescue center.
Because the numbers for people wanting to return for the same week to meet up were so high, the Invasion was born last year. Boobys Bar are the defenders against a coordinated attack of highly trained enjoyment operational troops who's sole objective is to overwhelm the defenders.
The invasion is the week commencing 25th Jan ( but mop up operations will be ongoing all season) and the main attack, is coordinated to go in on the Sunday evening at the forum meet up in Bobbys last year the defenders counter attacked with grenades, and hostages were taken ( I was one) and subjected to the terrible abuse of having bottles of beer taped to your hands and not being able to take them off until all the beer had been drunk, I am sure this contravenes the Geneva convention of the treatment of prisoners of war !! however we then deployed our secret weapon! in the name of Spartacus ( all his crew were dressed as Scooby Doo)who got Bobby and Bobby Jnr to drink beer though each others socks (its on You Tube ) we had targeted Kas but she did a runner and hid in the toilet.
The Invasion is open to all ages, even the boarder are welcome !!
I HOPE THIS HELPS TO EXPLAIN !! We need all the troops we can muster, as I have information from theater that the defenders are more numerous and are planning as we speak COME ON YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU !!!!!!! Weapons required, are as follows, Salt & Vinegar Crisps (against Kas ) Pork Scratching (Bobby) and Curly Wurlys (Bobbo)

Hi Calum,The names are the user name chosen by people when joining the forum, for instance S.P. is Snow Plough, D,But is Dick Butler, and me originally for Manchester ( Red by the way)

Hi, S.P.I am fine mate, it's just getting to that time of year when all things turn to skiing. You just watch out mate cos it looks like your just about to be run over by that ambulance, it must have been Vinny's day off or he would have got you .
