Now then I am very confused, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know that our luggage allowance will be 20 kilos, but my friend tells me that this is on an individual basis - in other words we can't take two bags weighing 60 kilos, for the three of us. If this is true we need to buy new cases !
I know that the poor baggage handlers need to watch their backs, but we normally split the luggage weight across the three of us.
Can anyone confirm whether or not this is correct ?
Hi to follow my last statement, suggest you look at British Airways site and see the vast amounts they are charging for anything over 23 kilo's. it looks when reading it, it means 23 is max anything else into another bag and you are charged alarge amount for that bag. ttony
I usually do the 60kg between three. My bag was well over 20kg last time and just got covered in stickers saying 'heavy' - can't remember what weight it was though.
THanx for all your comments guys. I think I will stick to the no bag over 25kilos policy. I understand why they do it, I do alot of lifting at work myself, and it isnt funny if your forced to heaveho alot of weight.
Roll on bansko on the 3rd March !!!!!
Hi John, had the same question, also going with Inghams. Rang them 2 weeks ago, they confirmed 20kg per person, but you can have ie. 2 cases for 4 of you, they will put 'heavy' on case. We thought we would have to buy new cases!!! Straight from the horses mouth, or should I say Inghams!!! Hope this helps. Yvette
