Iglika Chalets?

Hi everybody,
We are 4 adults and we consider to book in january in Iglika Chalets in Borovets.
Has somebody stayed there? Is the breakfast and dinner in a buffet form and where do they serve it?

P.S. In which other central hotel in Borovets can you book a nice apartment for 4 adults?

Thanks and have a nice holyday!

re: Iglika Chalets?

They look very good. Just beside the hotel itself, amongst the trees, very serene! Food is served in the hotel and is buffet style. Quality is pretty good on the whole. Breakfasts are superb but to be honest, food is so cheap in restaurants that we only ate dinner in hotel once.
Be careful cos the chalets may well be self catering!

Cheers

Alan

Hi Alan,

Thanks for your quick reply. Is it true that you have to arrange your own poloce registration even if you book the chalet through an agency?

re: Iglika Chalets?

I have no idea! We had to hand in some piece of paper that was put inside our passports when we were leaving the resort but i have no idea what it was for.

Police registration shouldnt be a problem though cos the borovets police station consists of a tiny shed/outbuilding stuck on to the side of the Iglika hotel, so if your planning to stay at the iglika chalets you would be able to make the registration forms into paper aeroplanes and throw them to the police station - its seriously that ...

Good luck

PS When are you hoping to go?

re: Iglika Chalets?

This is a good news then! This piece of paper is your registration:-). We hope to be able to arrange something between 6-7 and 13-14 january. It depends on where we can book a place for 4 adults. It seems that there are not a lot of studio's or apartments. Any advices?
Thanks for the wishes, we need them;-)

Ronald

Balkan Tours (Belfast) or Balkan Holidays(UK) are prob the best bet depending where you are travelling from

re: Iglika Chalets?

Ronald,

re: Iglika Chalets?

The Alpin Hotel also have chalets which you book through a Russian Agency. If you do a general search the details will be available to you.

Very nice and central too.

Hope this helps.

re: Iglika Chalets?

Thank you guys for the tips.

Tanjette, het klopt. We gaan echter 3 weken naar Bulgarije, waarvan maar 1 skieen. Door de agenties wordt dit gezien als een afwijkend geval, dus geen aanbieding.

Ellie, thanks, will try this also.
