Are there problems with bookings at the Iglika and any comments on what it is like? Already had my Gatwick flight cancelled and am now going from Heathrow!!!!
I've stayed twice at the Iglika and once at the Samokov - if you like friendly and fun, you've done well - if you want big and impersonal, whoops - you should have gone to the Samokov or Rila.
The Iglika is right opposite the Rila, cross through the carpark to get into the hotel and straight onto the slopes. The only downside of the hotel is that you don't have the big social areas and you need to go out for that - but I love it there. A lot of people who go there are return visitors ...

I hope they have a bar area to chill out, we have stayed at the Rila twice and people we met last year said it was nice there and i am saving £1000 pds on last years holiday, but I am worried about the size of the family room as my children are not small!!!! I have heard the rooms are not that big but all we need is a bed really!!! Thanks for your reply
They do have a bar area to chill out in - not sure about the size of the family room - I went with a friend last year, we shared a room and it was fine - usual standard size hotel room - also, because it's a smaller hotel, the bar is cheaper
I'm a return visitor, and would say the double rooms are small, but can't comment on larger rooms. The bar area has a Chill out area, and because it's smaller, you are more likely to get table service.
And the hot chocolates are the best I've had in borovets.
