Iglika Villas-Iglika Palace Hotel

Hi, just booked our first ever ski trip, staying at Iglika Villas in Borovets. Has anyone any knowledge of this complex? Any comments; good or bad, will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Yumma Confused

I have altered your post and removed the / from your heading.

By using a / it prevents the post from being read.

Hi Yumma

This time yesterday I was sitting in the Hotel Iglika cleaning their superb hot chocolate!

You will have various comments about this hotel, but I thought we may an excellent choice as the hotel had a nice atmosphere and it was within walking distance of the slopes

The hotel is located right behind the Hitel Rila (which is the massive hotel in all of the pictures). It has clean rooms with a TV, swimming pool and above all, compared to Bargarian standards, nice food.

We ate in front of an open fire located just outside the restuarant. The staff were helpful and friendly.

For the price we paid for the holiday compared with western europe, I thought it was good value for money, and if we ever go back to Borovets (which is a great possibility) we will certainty book back into the Iglika.

We got back from the Iglika villas just over a week ago. The villas were warm and whilst the beds were a bit solid, generally the villas are comfortable if not luxurious. Don't even think about trying to cook anything in the villa. The food is such good value in the town, you would be wasting your time.

Happy to answer any questions you have. When are you going?
