We are flying out to borovets this weekend, a group of first time skiers, staying at the iglika, how far is it from the lifts? anything we should know about borovets etc ??re: Iglika first timers
It's immediately opposite the Rila - walk out the hotel, cross the road, through the Rila and you are on the slopes.
I stayed at the Iglika last year, went to Pamps this year and am back at the Iglika next.
You will be 5 mins walk from the gondola and two mins walk from the main area where ski school meets.
There is a cash machine at the bottom of the gondola which will probably spit out about 2.85 lev to the pound.
Have a great time, enjoy yourselves and get a room ...

Any suggestions about first day of school, is the boot/Ski place near...how early should we get there?

CalreThe Boot & Ski place we used last year was at the bottom of the slope on the right just outside the Rila.
Try and get there early'ish and get your self a good pair of boots that fit. Make sure all of the adjusters work.
Remember, you are going to spend a week in them !

u'll love iglika!!! it is a small hotel but got more quality than big ones. no prostitutes like rila, the safest! Great food, you dont need to eat out!!! Rooms are clean and really warm! only problem was the shower! they definately have showers in the rooms but no curtains nor cabins so everything gets wet!! anyway for me it is the best decision in borovets!!have loads of fun!!!
