Hi all in Boro right now. Could do with a bit of snow but still pretty good up top. Supposed to snow tues or Weds so fingers crossed.re: In Boro now

snow in borovets is gettin deeper only stopped an hr or so ago, slopes still a bit icey. but a huge improvement to the begining of the week. several inches deep at the bottom of the slopes in places.re: In Boro now
I was up skiing yesterday (Thursday 20th) and it snowed all day. Visibility up top wasn't the best but lifted mid afternoon for some superb off piste skiing. The snow falling was filling in the freshly made trax quicker than I could make em!.....above all.....fantastic skiing at the mo

Fantastic snow today but the gondola was closed until 12 because of fog and then again from 2 because of wind. That was, however, the two finest hours of skiing this season..... Hopefully they will bash it to preserve it as the wind was blowing a lot away and the Rila side is already back to the ice base. But I doubt it. Still the incompetence of Borosport equals cracking powder! Really nice off piste. lets just hope they open the lifts...re: In Boro now

Just back from Bansko. Very windy and extremely cold at the top - the top lift is closed but the drags on the other side are open and make it accessible. Good snow down to Shiligarnika - getting a bit soft but its cloudy so the melt is not too bad. Top runs extremely good even to the end of the day which is unusual for this time of year. Temps due to drop and more snow forecast so looks like a late hurrah for the season. Some very nice off piste with the new snow. Not too busy. 100% ...

Not too busy. 100% download means the gondola queue is a bit of a pain at the end of the day but as most cabins go half full, scoot down to Chain Valog for a blast on those two delicious empty black/reds before coming down from the mid station. Ski road is a muddy field.
