Sorry to do this but we are in Borovets now and its not good news
1) The snow is basically non existant. All runs are open but there is more ice than snow and if you like gardening there is plenty of grass to look at. Some of the runs are downright dangerous.
2) Beware about changing money in resort, use the hotels and banks. Currency exchanges play dirty tricks.

3) Its bloody expensive here compared to Pampovoro, *was there last year and loved it. Pamps is a much better resort more homely, I think they like to over price most things
4) Beware table service in bars, walk to the bar yourself. We got stiffed a few times with an extra 5 lev put on the bill (Titanic bar!)
5) Always get prices before you buy stuff on the slopes. Got stiffed for 18 levs for 3 nescafe and a bottle of water.
6) The organised events can be obtained much cheaper if you arange them yourselves.
Sorry, back to Andorra for me. I think given the quality of the services here in Boro
need improving to justify the prices.

Right up top of gondola there are good conditions but up the chairlifts at the Rila end very tricky conditions. Nursery slopes were ok but had iced up by Sat afternoon when we left. Temp was 12 or 13 degrees which is lovely for sitting with a drink but no ...
