Hi all,
Just a quick post to say what it's like. No new snow since we arrived on Saturday but clear and cold so snow cannons working a lot. Beginner slopes ok and snow ok on a couple of routes down from the central 4 man chair lift on the slopes in front of Rila. Also good snow on Yastrebets which you can get to by mini bus (you can go down from top of Gondala but rocky). This is a fairly long run with a 4 man chair (red). Basically snow ok where there are cannons, most of rest closed ...

Sunny again today. Slopes get a bit icy in the afternoon when loose snow has been scraped off.
Some nice bars and have been enjoying the food in the Iglika. Enough skiing for a fun holiday and nice sunshine anyway. Phil.

hi all am in resort myself. Currently back in my hotel room :-( am an intermediate skier and am really struggling at the moment. The martinovi lift broke down about am hour ago so i came back. The 2 martinovi red runs are ok 1st thing but soon ice up because the cannons are not running on the slopes all day (they do at the bottom by the rila). My girlfriend is bored as she doesn't drink and the blue run (iglika) that has a gradient she is confident on is over run. The resort is nice and the ...
hi all am in resort myself. Currently back in my hotel room :-( am an intermediate skier and am really struggling at the moment. The martinovi lift broke down about am hour ago so i came back. The 2 martinovi red runs are ok 1st thing but soon ice up because the cannons are not running on the slopes all day (they do at the bottom by the rila). My girlfriend is bored as she doesn't drink and the blue run (iglika) that has a gradient she is confident on is over run. The resort is nice and the locals are friendly but the piste management seems poor. In its current condition i wouldn't say this is a good beginners resort.

Im in Borovets at the moment - stayng at the Rila. I'd say so far so good, no real complains
there are enough slopes to have a good skiing experience, although not all are open. I like the Yastrebets ones but I' intemediate. my wife is begginer and is moslty on the Rila, rotata and Iglika -she's pretty excited and happy, so I'm happy 
and the hotel is quite OK, although we were expecting less.. we got a very good deal so we thought it'll be crap but its not bad at ...
