In answer to your question carl ...

... doing good!

My situation has completely changed from last year ... moved away from London, back home in Scotland, single again, got a new piercing Razz , and in addition to the sound engineering, got a wee part time job as an ASSI snowboard instructor (artificial surface only).

Was gonna do a Daniel this season, but got an unexpected £200 at Christmas so decided to wait and pounce on a late deal ... waiting in pounce position as I type ... it's muder on the neck though.

Hey I'm in Scotland as well, in Edinburgh, although I'm no jock Razz I'm English - came here to study. This is my 5th year in the not quite highlands and islands of Scotland. Praying for some decent snow up north this season. Not looking the best really so far. Oh well, Pamporovo in 10 days.......

Hola Daniel Smile lucky git ... what resort are you off to?

Jonty ... was up at the Nevis Range at the begining of the week (Hogmanay drinking session at the Clahaig in Glencoe) ... nothing at all on the ground worth talking about, but they say it should dump in the next week or so. Of the two places I passed, Glencoe itself looks like it had the most snow but only just. The good news is that it's open 7 days this year, bad news is that a lift pass is £25 a day ... for £4 more you could get ...

Ohhh sounds nice ... but see round Vancouver, you'll see lots of snow capped peaks in the distance! I'm sure they'll be a bus or something that could take you up for a day.

Was in Seattle two years ago, and took a day trip up round the San Juan (sp?) islands to Victoria, then on into Vancouver. Head down to the Gas Works at night!
