Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I'm holed up on hotel today and maybe rest of week due to falling & twisting knee yesterday. Hotel perun is as good as last year but the food has improved much better veggie options & fish.the first day was a nightmare queues worse than last year. Anyone booked with crystal, thomson, inghams the ski hire place is a shambles.the equipment is obviously old , I got given a pair of ski's with the binding held on by the thread of one screw with the other one completely missing - one advantage of the queue was to be able to go back & sort it out while my lot moved two inched along.the boots have lost all interior cushioning & my daughter & I had huge problems trying to get ones to fit. The guys in the hire place where the most surly & unhelpful bunch. After my daughter decided she'd make do with boots a size too small, they didnt have any in her size and just strugged their shoulders, we then discovered they'd not adjusted the bindings on her ski's so where unusable.on the positive side the ski instrutor is really good took us off piste which was fanastic. There has been so fresh snow the top of the mountain is fine lower slopes slushy but ski road is skiable - just. Would love to say we'll be back but there really are not enough runs to support the amount of development.
