Firstly a small apology to those that caught my posting after having arrived in Boro, blame it on bobby he insisted on me drinking lots of coke lights!
As this was my second trip this year, I cant say what a differance some snow makes!!
From a skiing point of view this was the best ever, bombing the world cup run at the beginning of the week .........oh matron.......sheer ecstacy!!!!

From a skiing point of view this was the best ever, bombing the world cup run at the beginning of the week .........oh matron.......sheer ecstacy!!!!
Im not going to go on about some of the things said over the last couple of days, but i really do wish the 'english ' would just except that the rest of the world is not all macdonalds, game boys, and 'we won the war' mentality, personnaly i find your average Bulgarian a more decent human being than your average brit.
Moans are ....how do you get hold of the Mayor.....CLEAN THE B*****Y SNOW AND ICE OFF THE STREETS, HOW MANY BROKEN BONES DO YOU NEED!!!!
ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!! (funny how the roads and some paths got salted for the holiday starting thursday!)
Apart from that perennial problem oh and staying at the olmp, but i did book very last minute, it was absolutley fantastic, and as i was in saalbach and hinterglem last year, i can say the runs on tues and weds were just as good if not better.
last but not least, thanks bobby...... the piste basher to the base of Musala and skiing back was a first for me, now i know what its like to be in the middle of a winter desert!!!
Ellie we are now the proud owners of the 'Asmata' and it will be a catered chalet for next season, so get your booking in now...LOL

Wow! Fraser & Sarah - congratulations. That will be one of the first catered chalets in Borovets won't it? Where is that located then?
Sounds like you had a wonderful time and I won my bet re: the Olymp didn't I!! Never mind beggars can't be choosers and you'll have your own accommodation for next year!
What are you proposing to do re: renting the accommodation? Offering a package or renting the chalet and people making their own travel arrangements. Genuinely interested but ...
