In stitches ( not the ha ha type !)

Oh no - guess what ?

Remember me - had my tattoo done specially for my hols.

Got over enthusiastic last night, fell over and now have 3 stitches in my toe

Are there any medics on the site who can tell me how long before I can Ski - I fly out on 3rd Jan, dont want to cancel my hols.

Cheers

Gary you friggin wally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are prepared to go through the pain barrier just do it!!!!
Ski boots offer great protection, I once skied with a big gash in my foot, which was murder with just shoes on, never felt a thing skiing, then murder again as soon as I took my boots off.

Just need to suck it and see pal.

Hope it all works out for you.

re: In stitches ( not the ha ha type !)

I had stitches in the side of my foot earlier in the year and had the stitches out after 10 days, so you should have had them removed by the time you go.
I rode in my motocross boots soon after I had the stitches out (they're pretty similar to ski boots) and although it was a bit sore, I just put a thick pad of gauze over the cut and it was fine. I'm no doctor, but I reckon you will be OK.
Even if you don't ski much, that just leaves more time for drinking!
