Independent Travellers

Anyone considering an independent holiday next year - its well worth considering the Devonshire Lodge in Bansko. It's run by Glynnis and Nigel and although we didn't go there this year we are considering it for next year. They have lived there for 3 years and have a wealth of local knowledge about the town and can advise on all sorts of things. They can arrange transfers and ski hire etc leaving you only to sort out the flight. I can't seem to find the cheap flights that people talk about ...

They have lived there for 3 years and have a wealth of local knowledge about the town and can advise on all sorts of things. They can arrange transfers and ski hire etc leaving you only to sort out the flight. I can't seem to find the cheap flights that people talk about, but if I can get some help there, that's who I and my family will be staying with. They also boarded with us and gave us tips and hints to improve our technique. Devonshire Lodge.com is their website if this sounds like an option worth considering to you. This was a great skiing holiday even though I was staying at the Katarino Spa which can cost you anything rom 15-30 Levs to get into town. My only complaint about Bansko is I think too much development is taking place, which reduces the charm the town has.

re: Independent Travellers

We got flights with neilson. They go on sale at the begining of the season. They were charter flights with thomas cook to sofia from Manchester £100pp rtn including tax and meals 8 week before we travelled.

Book as early as you can because an extra person joined us 3 week before we went and they had gone up to £190

I booked filghts 2 days before we left through neilsons on thomas cook and they were £49 each think it depends on how they are selling
