Indoor Skiing

I live in Surrey and have recently travelled up to Xscape in Milton Keynes for a quick fix.

Does anyone know of any indoor places to ski with real snow nearer? The trek up there was nearly two hours - I don't think I can do that too often!

Thanks

I have tried the snowdome at Tamworth too. It's where I had some lessons before my Pamps trip earlier in the year. I only live an hours drive away so may try the late night session on a sunday. It promises to be quieter.

re: Indoor Skiing

Ipswich won't be any help either Sam as it is on the east coast and Tamworth is in Staffordshire.

We are an hour from MK so lucky. There is so much to do there you should really make a day of it. There are loads of restaurants, bowling, the cinema and of course an excellent shopping centre - you'll be in 7th heaven!

re: Indoor Skiing

I was in MK about 5 years ago on course. We went to the Italian restuarant at the snowdome, it was amazing. We then went and got drunk, it was amazing.
The next morning I was hungover, it was not amazing.
