Indoor ski slopes

Hi all,
I'm thinking of going to one of the UK's indoor ski slopes. It is either going to be the one in Tamworth or Milton Keynes.Has anyone got any opinions as to which one is the better ? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Smile
cheers.

Not been to MK, but Tamworth is ok. It is "buy 1 hour, get a second free" at the mo so is worth the money. The only issue is that it does get busy so if you can go on the weekend, so head for a weekday spot if you can. The hire kit is (as always) fairly ropey, but it is ok for you yo get your snow fix every now and again.

re: Indoor ski slopes

Been to both. Tamworth has a slightly more interesting slop as its got a quarter turn at the top. Much easier to get to the top of the slop as well, they use a moving rubber mat. MK is newer looking, about as wide but has a row of pillars down the middle so it all seems a little narrow. They use a button lift which get really painfull on your front leg (snowboarding) after a while. Still good though. I'd ring either and check wot the snow is like before you go though. Been to MK twice ...

Been to MK twice without checking and there was a LOT of ice on the slop and the snow they had was really slow. MK has much better facilities whilst your not snowboarding/skiing. Bars, shops, resturaunts etc. They both have offers on for cheap deals, check before you go. When to Tamworth yesterday and paid £21 for 2 hours. Have fun.
