Info on ski equipment in Pamps please !!

Can anyone tell me what you do to pick up your boots, skis etc. on the first day?

Some of you say that some of the equipment is a bit ropey, so get there early before most of the good stuff goes. Is this right?

What time will we need to be there to get decent gear?

Are there lockers where you can leave your own boots whilst skiing and your ski boots overnight??

We've prehired equipment etc., and flying with Balkan.

Thanks for your help!

Tony at breakfast on the first day you will be issued with a voucher for your skis. the Buses start running to the ski depot at about 8.30. I would say get there early the first morning is the worst loadsa of hanging around your lessons will not start until 10.00 and it is very busy with everyone collecting there skis at the same time. But just grin and bare it because it is not like this the rest of the week. Apparently there is loads of new gear arrived this year so you might be lucky and ...

Apparently there is loads of new gear arrived this year so you might be lucky and get this but not to worry if it is your first time skiing you will not know the difference! No lockkers but you get a cubby hole to leave your boots in. I ahve been with Balkan 3 times they are fine. Hope you have a great time in Bulgaria and end up loving it as much as I do. Just go with an open mind! Very Happy
Ps When are you going?

No problem Tony. I first went in 98 and it has changed since then so it could be quite a bit interesting for you! Have fun!
