An avalanche has killed a man in the Bulgarian ski resort Bansko, the local Mayor Alexander Kravarov reported Friday.
The avalanche happened on a slope of Mount Todorka at around noon as the ski instructor from Bansko was snowboarding in an area that is forbidden for skiing and snowboarding - outside of the ski zone. He was found by a team of mountain rescuers.
Kravarov continued that the avalanche happened in exactly the same furrow in which 28-year-old Victor Gerbev from Sofia died ...

As the temperature continues to go up after recent freezing weather the conditions are now perfect for avalanches, Bankso locals informed.
