Something has just come up to remind me, your friendly instructor (and they all are) doesnt get paid very much, around £70 per month, so when it comes to the end of the week and you are taking a group collection, because everyone does dont they!!!, bear in mind how much youve spent on the lash, and then equate this to how much they earn, and give genoursly, not only will it be very much appreciated, but will be spent much better than on a few pints at home.
They might not get paid much but think of the perks!! Get to ski for free the whole season. Plus, Ski Instructor = Babe magnet. Opportunities to bed as many Babes in season as dick will allow. Not a bad package.
Good advice or you could do what my group done when I first learnt to ski, that was buy him a pub size bottle of whisky! His face was a picture his eyes nearly fell out of his head!! It was worth it he was a fantastic guy
all the instructors are great, very helpful, and deserve a big tip at the end of your week, don't forget that most of them don't have the opportunity to do much work through the rest of the year
Some of the Instructors work as windsurf instructors on the Black Sea during the summer where they continue to live it up. Seriously though, the guys I've met in Borovets have been the most helpful and fun to be with that I have ever experienced. I would fully agree they deserve a tip at the end of the week. Only 10 days to go.
Oh! and if you are using the Kindergartens etc don't forget the kids instructors. We used Inghams last year and it wasn't until we got home and looked at the video that we realised that they had spent as much time with their instructors as they did with the Nannies. We felt really bad that we hadn't acknowledged them as well as our instructor - we'll not make the same mistake this year.
