I wondered if anyone could beat the Insurance Payout I received yesterday for my Ski-ing accident in March. I've damaged cartilage/ruptured knee ligaments -am still waiting for an MRI scan to confirm and then apparently a new waiting list for the op to repair the damage so am out of any activities for quite a while. Never mind, I am the proud owner of a cheque to the value of £3.46 which I will use to buy some reading glasses so that I can thoroughly read the small print on my Insurance Documents before purchasing my next winter sports policy!! Read the small print - don't be an dummy like I was.

re: Insurance Payout/Ski Accident

Thanks - my own fault - didn't read the small print regarding personal accident which wasn't clear but was in the document. A warning to all - read the small print!!!!! My excess for this turned out to be £250 and not £50 which was the excess for nearly everything else on the policy!
Doh!
