HiIm going 27th Jan (and hoping that pistes will be open), but just wanderin ghow you would prove to your insurance company when claiming for piste closure?? (i get £20/day for closure)
Any help?

If any pistes are open you will not be able to claim. If you can claim you should get a notice from your tour repre: Insurance claims again piste closure
as above!if the pistes are closed, you will get a letter type thing. But as said, it means all pistes, even the iccle beginners slopes. So its highly unlikely to happen!

on a previous occasion that i had to claim my rep supplied me with a letter from the local ski school saying that all runs were closed.my insurance company accepted this letter and paid out for each day closedre: Insurance claims again piste closure
Piste closure payments depends who you are insured with. It is not correct to say that all the pistes must be closed to claim, since my policy will pay out if 80% are closed.re: Insurance claims again piste closure
