Insurance

Hi,

Does anyone have any recomendations for winter sports insurance. I have done various searches with lots of different prices being offered. Are the cheaper companies worth going with ?

re:Insurance

I get mine for Holiday Extras, and I have preexisting medical condition, but no problem as long as I declare it. Some other well known companies have said no, the premium is not bad either !

re:Insurance

Most of the cover from the average companies will be OK . As Tom says if you have any medical conditions declare them ( I just declare that my body is past repair). No seriously declare any if you have them and beware a lot of companies do not cover off-piste skiing

re:Insurance

Use Moneysupermarket myself, always have done, just look at the conditions, usually better to take the 4th or 5th choice as it's Medical expenses your really looking for. I also have high blood pressure and mine is 70-00 for an annual multi trip for wife and I. DONT use Directline.

re:Insurance

also Andy, might be worth looking at annual family policies. They can work out excellent value particularly if you have more than one holiday in a year and most have the option to include winter sport cover. Obviously you still need to ensure that it meets your needs....
