Hi guys, does anybody know a list of places that offer wifi or internet access in Pamps please? I'm satying at the Murgavets and am convinced my travel agent told me there's Wifi in the hotel but I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated
I stayed in the Murgavets in 2008 and can confirm that there is internet access in the cafe / restaurant area which links the hotel to the Perelik.
There were quite a few terminals available at that time and the cost was very reasonable.
The ski bus is regular from the hotel - but if you feel like stretching your legs it isn't that far to walk to the lift.
Having been to Pamps a few times before, I had a little bit of knowledge on what to expect from the Murgavets (I had used the link area for a few nights out in the bars / restaurants).

Hi Greg,
Having been to Pamps a few times before, I had a little bit of knowledge on what to expect from the Murgavets (I had used the link area for a few nights out in the bars / restaurants).
It is a big place with plenty of amenities (the 'tunnel link' & Perelik link leads to a small shopping parade, bowling alley, bars, cafes, couple of restaurants, night club etc - all without going outside!). There is a small supermarket across the road (think it is the Alaska) where they sell a decent selection of food, drink and essentials.
The rooms are okay - nothing to write home about but good enough for a week's crashing out (which is all you really need them for!)). The breakfasts are fine - plenty of toast, fried / boiled eggs, bacan , sausgae, cereal, fruit etc....fill yourself up and you won't have to spend a fortune on the slopes!
Dinner was a bit hit & miss- Bulgarians tend to prefer their food 'like-warm' and, as a result, when we sometime ate later in the evening, some of the meats were quite cold. However, there a few pubs & restaurants vey close by (across the road) which will give you a few options when you want to eat out.
Hope that helps!
Thanks again for your response, that's immensely helpful. To be honest I wasn't expecting much in terms of food anyway, as long as I'm able to get my hands on a good steak in one of the restaurants one night then I'll happily eat cold bacon the rest of the week The only thing I'm dreading is the 'extortinate prices' I've seen a lot of people comment on, oh well, you only live once.
