Ive just got a quick question. I am off out to Borovets on the 21st Feb. I am off out there with 2 other mates. However they will be going into ski school and I will be skiing with Billy. Is it easy to meet up and ski with others when you get out there????
(I have just got back from skiing in Flaime and have got my ski legs back on so I am quiet a good standard at present).
Shame your going to Boro, I'm off to Pamp the same day and in a similar position, most of my group (8 of us) are either 1st timers or 1 weekers, sure we will both find some like minded peeps to ski the tough stuff with.
Get chatting to people on the lifts or in the Gondala on the way up and wangle a ski down with them. We found groups split up down the mountain, especially down the long run from top of Gondala. Alwys seeing people taking a breather on their own.
Or see people in the bars and arrange to meet the next day. All easily possible
I agree totally with Nev, I was skiing till lunch time with my group, and then went off in the PM, and always found someone to ski with, (even stop for a brandy).
Hi Michael you are going to be a bit like me going with others but skiing in a different group they learn to ski me not! I would go join a group mate I have always enjoyed this and had a good laugh and if you dont like the people then just sod off on your own!
Ps did you get my last message about your mate living in the same falts as me?
It is really easy to meet people in Borovets. I went with one friend and we offten went our separate ways and each time we met up we had both made a new friend or two. The White Magic is also a great place to met people.
