Is it snowing in Borovets?

I can't see from the web cam and the snow report asn't been updated since the 5th.

Snow report suggests another 5cm has fallen overnight!!!
Yippeeee --4 more days to go!!

We got back on Saturday 7th March from Borovets. Whilst we were there it snowed 4 days out of the 7 and on the Friday before we left there was quite a large snowfall. Watch out though, some of the pistes are very icy and near the bottom there are rocks and branches sticking through the snow.

Sarah - Thanks for the warning!! Anyone else out there know what the conditions are like?

You don't wanna go further than the intermediate station on Slope 1 .... it's not fun !! If you do slope 2, it's quite long and rough on the bottom section so you're unlikley to wanna go back up the t-bar. There's also a walk and a taxi to the gondola from slopes 2 & 3. The Black (0) is fairly easy but with little snow cover and icy patches. This of course is all negated with a good dump. The slopes are fairly challenging for an intermediate ... have fun !!
