Is it too dangerous to board at the mo?

Me and a group of mates are going out to Pamps on the 10th Feb. still 3 weeks away and lots of snow forecasted i know, but just wondering if conditions are like they are at the moment is it too dangerous to snowboard!?

Yes it is really Jay. Snowshack guys have been doing beginners courses but it's no fun if you are experienced at the moment. Plus it will wreck your board in no time.

Having said that, snow is expected before you arrive.

Yes, its far too dangerous for boarding! Leave the slopes free for the skiers!

Tried the taster session at the Snowshack last week. Ted and Gary were great, although Nellie took us for our lesson on the nursery slope.
Found it hard, icey and frightening. Had a bad fall on the ice and hurt my back. Won't be boarding in these conditions again. May try next year if there is snow to fall on instead of ice.

I have been in Bansko for 4 days now....

... my board is wrecked...

.. but on the positive side, my wife will only let me replace when it is broken, so tomorrow, I will be up there again
