Is there snow or not in Borovets?

Hi All-
There seems to be some mixed messages coming thru about whether or not there is snow in Borovets! Can anyone clarify whether there is snow there let the rest of us know? When was the last time it snowed, and what are the skiing conditions like at the moment? I'm heading there on Saturday...do you think it'll be OK? That would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!

Just come down from skiing today.Markujik 1,2a, 2b, 3, Fon Fon, and the top of the gondola to mid station are all open with great skiing to be had.
Last snowed up top yesterday but not much, maybe 2 odd cm's.

I have been skiing today in Borovetz, all of the Markudjik runs on the top of the mountain and down to the middle station of the gondola are fantastic, there is plenty of snow on the slopes. Off piste and over to the Musala Hut there is 2 to 3 metres of snow, you can ski any where you like and now that there are very few people about on the Markudjik 1,2 and 3 button lifts there are no queues. The weather is really nice, a bit cold to start with but then sunny all day and this is the forecast for the next couple of weeks. I met up with a friend, Andrew, who lives in Bulgaria, Fraser who posts on this site, and a guy from Holland on holiday here, by the end of the day we were exhausted, the snow conditions are such that you can ski really fast without feeling out of control and there are not a lot of other people on the slopes to worry about.I came down buzzing, I reckon I was at 100% of my ability ( peer pressure), the adrenaline was in the system, the beers were going down a treat at the end of the day, and at £1 a pint how can you complain? It is true that the lower slopes are not so good, it has just been too warm, but on the top of the mountain for beginners and good skiers there is no problem, it is really good and will remain so into April. Fraser is off to Bansko tomorrow and providing he gets back ok!! I have arranged to ski with him on Friday, I will ask him to post a report on the skiiing conditions, but in the mean while anyone coming don't worry, on the top of the mountain there is plenty of snow for beginners and advanced skiers and as an added bonus the weather is Sunny Beach in the Mountains.
