I highly doubt this is true as it is in my contract with them that it is members/owners & gusts only to play. If they change the terms then I will have to be issued a new contract which I may not sign and demand my payments so far returned as what I signed up for was a private golf club not public.

I cannot see Balkanstroys economics in running a golf club with two 18 hole courses, club house and all facilities purely on the income from owners and their guests.... unless they are willing to pay huge fees....
And regarding the day membership issue, we already know of people who have played on this basis....
economically it is very difficult to see how Pirin could really be "residents only". Golf is still not a popular sport in Bulgaria so they have to take whatever business they can get. I don't think owners should really be worried that it is open to non residents as effectively it will subsidise their member fees. Without the outside players owners would have to have huge membership fees. I haven't played the course but I have been in the club house and it is quite nice. Overall the complex ...
