re: Is this true...

I highly doubt this is true as it is in my contract with them that it is members/owners & gusts only to play. If they change the terms then I will have to be issued a new contract which I may not sign and demand my payments so far returned as what I signed up for was a private golf club not public.

their website says

the “residents only” resort features two golf courses, exclusively for the use of our residents and guests of the resort, as well as guests of the hotels Katarino SPA, Perun, Bulgaria and Razlog.

Welsh... have you been asked for an additonal 3000 E maintenance on top of your quoted maintenance ??
I cannot see Balkanstroys economics in running a golf club with two 18 hole courses, club house and all facilities purely on the income from owners and their guests.... unless they are willing to pay huge fees....
And regarding the day membership issue, we already know of people who have played on this basis....

I don't think owners should really be worried that it is open to non residents as effectively it will subsidise their member fees. Without the outside players owners would have to have huge membership fees. I haven't played the course but I have been in the club house and it is quite nice. Overall the complex ...

Some of the apartment buildings are a bit too high rise for my likely but the course and clubhouse look good.
