if that's the case take the gondola hope that it is not there and ski only to the middle station.if raining at 1300m ,Bansko will be pouring as well.Worst thing is doing skiing in Rainre: It's Raining in Borovets now

hi there, am at borovets at the moment and yes it has been raining today, but to be honest it helped soften the ice. its been getting treacherous on the nursery slopes by the rila for the last couple of days. the temps have varied from 7 c to 4 c, so mild, and the husband of one of the women on my ski class broke his arm snowboarding on the nursery slopes.
the conditions at the gondola are great, loads of snow, no ice, but the lower slopes are all pretty ropey.
more snow is due thurs ...

having a great time, but prices have indeed doubled since last year, and so with the mixture of poor conditions and higher prices we certainly wont be coming back.

yeh yeh, go somewhere cheaper then...boring, anyway it was fairly heavey snow up top, and it got quite cold. The resort is defin two parts at the moment, though it was fine at the top of the new four man rila side today. the gondola side and markdjuk runs are fantastic at the moment. Over ten cms due tomorrow night so fingers crossedre: It's Raining in Borovets now
