It has been repeated on here 100's of times...... you MUST get your lift pass from your tour operator/travel agent otherwise in resort it could cost at least double.
The rate you are charge by your operator is a subsidized rate as they buy in bulk. Paying in resort is not a rip-off it is the standard rate, and tour operators know this.

Unfortunately Inghams are being a bunch of idiots and say that since I bought a last minute deal - just found out today I would be in Pamporovo not Borovets - they cant sell me a lift pass cos its too difficult for their small brains to cope with. So guess Im going to get ripped off then, and pay more than my friend is for their board hire instruction and lift-pass. So not a grand start to the holiday.
Why are the lift prices so much cheaper in the UK?
