Paddy and Murphy were wondering aimlessly down the dark, night time roads of Limerick reflecting on their fortunes,
"There just isn't any work here to be had for sure", droned Paddy,
"I don't know what we are going to do."
Suddenly Murphy stops, "I know lets go to Dublin to seek our fortunes."
"That's all very well," replies Paddy, "but haven't any money and its to far to walk!"
Murphy points to the building they're standing by, "Well look here Paddy, the bus station.
Let's steal a bus, we'll be there in no time. I'll stand watch while you go and get a bus."
A good while later, Murphy is still stood outside the bus station.
"Hurry up Paddy, we haven't all night".
Suddenly he hears a motor starting up and then stop again. This noise continues for well over an hour.
"Will ye get a move on Paddy, for Christ's sake!"
After another half hour of this, Murphy can't take it any longer.
He is just about to go in and fetch Paddy when out he comes with a bus.
"Well ye took your time, it's nearly morning. I was just about to give up."
"Oh I'm sorry Murphy," Paddy replied, "But the bus to Dublin was right at the back!"
