A man and his wife are awakened at three o'clock in he morning by a loud pounding on the door
The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain is asking for a push.
"Not a chance," says the husband, "it is three o'clock in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed. "Who was that?" asked his wife.
"Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers.
"Did you help him?" she asks.

"No, I did not, it is three in the morning and it is pouring out!"
"Well, you have a short memory," says his wife. "Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down and those two guys helped us?" "I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!"
The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain. He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?"
"Yes," comes back the answer.
"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband
"Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark.
"Where are you?" asks the husband.
"Over here on the swing!" replies the drunk.
I don`t know Val, the way the weather is at the moment i might be better off with a submarine, may well hold off now until next year when i know better my financial situation, karen still wants another house here in the UK and of course i want a house in BG, still not finalised the apartment and whether to move developments...
In the mean time really busy with work....
Is it any wonder that i drink
Not too bad so far. We do need the rain though. The news is full of drought, empty reservoirs, hose pipe bans etc etc
Why does Karen want another house. You can only live in one at a time?? And you still have your flats which you rent out. Perhaps I'm missing the point.
She wants one with a big garden so she can grow her veg (shes a vegetarian), keep her animals (dog, guinee pigs, etc) she`s an animal lover...
In fact when i come to think of it we have absolutely nothing in common...
We would keep our existing properties and let them, possibly sub-let the new one as well, so i can look forward to a load of extra work !!!!
I hate the rain, especially at this time, all the tourists are just driving around aimlessly, traffic jams everywhere...

O, by the way, i`m trying to give up smoking, been two days, only knibbled my nails down to my knuckles so far.
Can`t really have a drink either because thats the worse time, looks like its drugs for me then !!!!!
Oh no not a veggie, oh dear oh dear oh dear it gets worse!! Sorry but I don't agree with being a vegetarian. Believe we are meant to eat a balanced diet. Roast beef for me every time.
Good luck with giving up smoking. Keep at it darlin...You know it makes sense.
What you need is a drink in each hand then you won't miss the fag!!
Hi Tanny.....
Have looked at possibilities here in the UK but just to expensive, should be possible abroad though. We did nearly buy a farm in Crete (greece), in the mountains.
It was only when we discovered the way the system works out there that we pulled out, a definate rule for us and a rule for them...
I am looking at a house near to Varna with 1250 sq m of garden, that should do as a dog toilet !!!!!
When are you off to Albena ??, i noted from your previous message that you will be ...
