We arrived back home from pamps at 2 this morning.
We stayed at Pamporovo Hotel. I would highly recommended not staying there half board or even B&B. The food was hot to eat, but the way they made the food most of it either wasn't cooked right or was black as in burned. The chips were eat able, The vegetables were rubber, The first night was OK it was fresh food but then the same food was coming out and was gradually getting worse. They re-heat most the food for the next night.

We stayed at Pamporovo Hotel. I would highly recommended not staying there half board or even B&B. They have a toaster that not only takes about 15 mins to cook but it makes the bread too hard to actually eat and when you break it in half it crumbles into pieces fue to being too hard.
We had to eat out most nights as we couldnt eat anything for 2 nights and could not carry on not eating.
Hotel Pamporovo is our 3 star hotel and hotel mourgavets was lower than that and there food was lovely.
The snow conditions are getting worse each day. We boarded down to studenets and its like a biulding site. The snow at the top is good but down the bottom and mid way is really bad. Its good for skiers as with the mud, slush and some dry patches you can go straight over it, but boarders have to carry there board most of the way. We had snow when we were there but just not enough.
Our rep was with crystal and was very nice. There's alot to do at night time and the main nights to go out was monday and friday.
If we were to go again it would be self catering and alot ealrier in the year. The people are lovely there, If you do have a problem best bet is to go to your rep as reception dont understand you.

The transfer times from sofia airport is 4 hours with a 20-30 min stop.

i would go the total opposite.
i stayed in the same hotel two weeks ago and thought it was bloody marvelous.
nice bars, especially the cosmos up the top. the rooms were great too.
as for the food, i really enjoyed it. yeah the food is basic but i had some gret pork and beef. they did some nice cauliflower cheese and ham and pasta, along with a great salad bar. i had seconds every day there.
if you are a fussy eater you won't enjoy it as it doesn't look overly appealing but i ...

plus, i flew to Plovdiv purely for that reason, i didn't want a 4 hour transfer.
on the negative side, the snow was awful but i made the most of it taking the balck/red's to the bottom as they had decent enough coverage in my opnion.
one thing that annoys me is the lack of ettiquete on the slopes comapred to other resorts. people do not think of others as they ski but this is to be epected when there are so many learners and people who think they can ski gonig down the slopes wildly out of control. stick to the blacks to avoid these people.

apologies, i misread your first post. i tohught you stayed at morgovets....i cna say morgovets was ace, but i cannot comment on hotle pamporovo!! sorry!!
