Julie, just returned from Bansko

Hi Julie, there are five of us going to Bansko on the 21st February. I noticed you have just returned can you give us some info please? What is the skiing like? Is there loads to do and see in bansko? Did you get to see the hotel Basko? How does it compare to Borovets? (thats if you have been to Borovets)

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Bansko and it is very cheap as it is as not as discovered as Borovets and pamp. Its a nice little town but not that much night life but it all depends what you want out your holiday. The mehanas are great we had 2 Jd's and coke as 2 draught beers and a lovely meal all for £7! The vodka in the shops is ridiculously cheap £2.20 for a litre. And theres some nice little traditional things to buy around the town. If your into bungie stuff theres a great inverted ...

All the ski gear is brand new and threre was not one queue in sight for any of the lifts. Skiing was good and instructors are really friendly. Ski Buses to the Gondola are every 20 mins and were never that busy only once did we have to stand up.

Cheers Michelle, you have been a great help. I am thinking of buying my own ski's whilst out there, is there a main dealer in the town? Thanks for the info, getting exited altready and we still have 4 weeks to go Booze
