Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Hi there all you snow worshippers, I thought you might like a recent report on our holiday to pamps. It was absolutely fabulous, and all I can say is have faith in the snow god and he will smile on you !! Our group were all papping themselves the thursday before we were due to fly (25/2) from gatwick and we got up on the friday to have a look at the web cam and the resort was covered !
The flight was good although a little late and the transfer was smooth, we stayed at the murgavets and having heard about the noise problems from the white hart our pre-emptive email request for rooms at the back of the hotel had been fully complied with. Just a word about the white hart, its actually a good night out and the food aint bad-the band Snow Dogs are fantastic !!
The food at the murgavets was typically warm verging on cold but plenty of it and cheap eating out is a plenty!
The snow kept coming throughout the week, infact one day the blizzard was soo bad we thought class might be cancelled, but our superb instructor Mario kept on going thru the horizontal white stuff!! Mario was very patient and I would recomend him to anyone, by Wednesday our mainly 1 week of experience group were on the bottom half of the wall.
I have to say that I would be lying if we didnt have a couple of bad experiences ;
1. Waiters not giving change, it was very annoying-especially as we all appreciate that they get paid crap wages and would give a tip anyway!
2. Snowboarders recklessly flying down runs without a thought for kids safety in front of them-the resort must really give them somewhere to go and play by themselves before there is a terrible accident.
3.I definately wouldnt go again to pamps the week of there spring festival holiday, the queues were truelly dreadful, and when you start getting grown adults pushing petite 13 year old girls over to jump the queue its time to go home !!
So overall a fab hol, great company, and lol-but pamps needs to grow a little to accommodate its growing popularity, which is why we are off to Bansko 2007.

John I am really sorry to see that you've returned to this site !!!!
But at least you are consistantly predictable !!
Only a biased half wit like you could take what I thought was a reasonably positive report and turn it into the doomsday story about Bulgaria that only you enjoy hearing about !!
Two people from our group have skied before in the trendy ski resorts - Austria France etc and guess what ?
They missed them so much after skiing in bulgaria this year that they booked to go to Bulgaria with us next year !!
I guess some people just like to be miserable on holiday!
