Just Back from Pamps

Hi There Everyone,

Just back from our 5th visit to Pamporovo.
We had the most amazing week- all 14 of us aged from 10 to 65!!
Conditions are fantastic at the moment.
Skied down in Chepelare one day for a change and it was worth every penny.

I highly recommend the Roly Poly for lunch on the slopes & the Markony for a little apres ski.

Check out Ski School Malina for great instructors who have worked wonders on us this week!!

Very Happy

How did you organise the trip out to Chepelare, timings, price etc
Thanks in advance Daz Booze

Hi Daz,

Coming from the top station - the Roly Poly is where the green slope meets the small blue slope (Snejanka1) on right hand side.
The blue slope is serviced by a T bar lift - so if you were coming down the small blue the turnstile for lift is on your right and next building is the Roly Poly. All types of food available - the chicken soup is unreal!

We organised a mini bus through our instructor to go to Chepelare. We left Pamps at 10am and returned at 4pm.We brought our skis and boots from ski centre with us. There was 8 of us and it cost 10 lev p.p. RETURN.
The lift passes were valid for 5 uses @ 25 lev for adults and 15 for kids then you get 5 lev back when you return them or you can get day passes at 35 lev and 25 for kids. The runs are long between 5/6 kms and wide and quiet so the cheaper passes were just perfect for us.
I would imagine that any hotel would organise a taxi/mini bus for you. It definitely was well well worth it.

Hope that all makes sense if not just say so!

Cheers,
Otto
