Just got back from a week at the Rila. I must say, what a week! We were very lucky with the conditions as it snowed all night/day when we arrived. The hotel itself was excellent, even the food was nice! Rooms are very clean and warm and the position is superb. Anyone read any bad reports, ignore them. Ther is NO safety deposit scam, staff friendly and helpful, just make sure any valuables left in your room are locked away (just in case). Thanks to all those in our group for providing such a ...

It was a fantastic week, wasn't it? The snow was great and provided a nice soft landing for many of us ski virgins on the slopes during the week.
We stayed in The Lion hotel and found it to be excellent in every way. Having said that, a kettle in the room wouldn't have gone amiss but that aside it's a great hotel and we'll certainly be returning there next year.
