Hi, good to hear you had brill hol Four of us to pamps in three weeks first timers!!! Staying in Hotel Finlandia, would appreciate any tips or advice Thanks
We stayed at the Finlandia. Good Hotel. Food and drink suitable for all. Staff very helpful. Buses running daily to and from the ski depots.
As a beginner i would definitely advise to get your legs as fit as possible it is still not too late to go walking/swimming a few miles a day because believe me it is far more strenuous than you think.

When the sun is out we found thermal leggings were sufficient under your salops and a thermal top covered by a polo neck or just a fleece with your coat more than sufficient. We did not have a lot of standing about because the exercises the instructor gives you keep you on the move all the time. Take some tissue with you in your pockets you will need them for the loos. MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN YOUR BOOTS AS TIGHT AS IS BEARABLE BECAUSE YOU SPEND MOST OF YOUR DAY LEANING ON THEM AND THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT! By the end of the week you will be amazed at what you will have achieved. My wife cried at the beginning of the week because she was so frustrated and then cried at the end of the week because she could do the same as the rest of us.
hotel mini bus runs at 7 pm and at 8 pm to the Perelik/Murgavets for a fee of 1 lev per person the only return bus is at 10 pm and that again is 1 lev a person.
if you want to have a taxi they cost anywhere between 10 and 15 levs each way but make sure you have a price agreed before you get in the taxi.
to be honest most families that we met all said the same thing that by 10 o'clockish they were ready for bed due to the day having been strenuous and you have to be up by 7.30 am for ...
