Just Watched The Olympic Flame

Watched it pass through Chippenham.
Glad I went, there were thousands lining the streets and a great atmosphere, but a little disappointed how the flame was being shown. There were lots of Police Cars and busses plus sponsors lorries etc. that passed by before the flame then this huge Olympic bus and the flame carrier was tucked in behind it meaning the view was quite concealed until it was almost level with you.

Managed to light my fag off it though Wink

watched in Glasonbury on tuesday, our head coach was running with it, really good atmosphere, took the kids out of school, was a group of about 20 of us. I agree there was rather a lot of peripheral vehicles!!! and im not drinking Coke Cola, theyd run out of give aways, they were getting booed!!!!!! Razz
